With that in mind, the only way CAN indeed harm her, is when using pacify: Since the energy drain is based on enemies inside her aura, it can get enormous with enough enemies. Plus, even if you Don't plan to use Mend&Maim, Range is still extremely useful for all her other abilities (except Metamorphosis), especially Rest. Yes, Mend&Maim make her a sitting duck, no doubt, but thats due to a long casting animation (that can be bypassed with natural talent), and not range itself. I dont exactly see how range can make her a huge target. The lower you're range, you become a tank that can take a lot of damage and last a lot longer. The higher your range, the more risk you have of becoming a huge target. But as soon as more enemies start coming in, you have to kill them a lot faster (if you're teammates cannot kill them fast enough) She's incredibly strong, it's just from what I understand, her range is her biggest friend and enemy. This specific build is for late game when you're either by yourself, or with a team that is going to need to be revived often.īut I've seen a lot of player use Equinox for support in defense, and survival. Out of 10-15 level 50-60 in late game, you have 5 seconds to take them down, then you're done with that ability. So if you're maxing you're range and strength in a survival. Strength is awesome and all, but when that slash proc hits and enemy, you have 5 seconds to take them down. She can support other teams abilities, but when you add range in day/night form, the higher your risk in the mission. And seriously, since rest and maim are the only viable and scalable abilites from equinox, strength is rather useless. You're gonna be a huge target for them to pick away at your frame (which makes my point for saying Range is BOTH your best friend and enemy). So if you're in a mission with numerous enemies, and you're using Equinox, not only will your range be ineffective, and energy drain faster. When you revive in late game the enemies start closing in, making it harder for you to revive anyone. So you need that extra armor to revive you're teammates. In late game, a couple of seconds CAN one-shot you (from what I've understood from late games). In late game with Equinox, your Mend and Maim are going to get harder to use because when you're activating it, you're stationary for a couple of seconds. So if you're doing survival, range is BOTH you're best friend and worst enemy. I made this specific build because in most of the missions (survival, exterminate, spy, etc) you're in, you're never in a close group (they're far). I nerfed her Range because her Pacify gives me "extra armour" to either solo or play in a team. I haven't put an explanation on there unfortunately lol The slide bonus doesn't seem more valuable than the extra 30% of range that stretch gives. However, I'd swap Cunning drift for stretch. I haven't seen the video with sound (I'm on a library, sorry), so I may be ignoring some explanation that you give in the video.
